These two! I sometimes remind Buster to be gentle when I can see he’s thinking about hopping right up with his feet—he’s not as much in control of their placement as Bea! He’s very aware of how much Midge can take, and he does listen surprisingly well. Six month tripodiversary! 🎉 This girl lost her leg September 18th, and she’s still hoppin’ along strong! There have been some ups and downs, but all in all, this adventure has been sooo much easier than it seemed it might be going into it. A lot of that has to do with that big smile that’s always on her face! We had a week recently where she had a lot of nerve pains, not sure why but I suspect she wrenched the shoulder area or banged it. This past week it’s much better, thankfully. It’s not so much that they hurt, the problem is they freak her out. She has always been nervous about things touching her (looking at you, you-know-who) and I think these just happen randomly when she’s laying there, and it stresses her out. Anyway that seems to be back to normal, and we are in week 3 of Palladia with no major side effects, so that’s great! Palladia is a low dose chemo-type drug that will help keep her lung node in check and fend off the osteosarcoma from coming back. Onward!
